Located in a sunny valley in the heart of Graubünden, the compact and exclusive village of Arosa has long been a favourite with our clients who flock here for the high quality hotels, gentle skiing and traditional ambience. Thanks to the new link to Lenzerheide, there is plenty of piste to keep even the most committed skier entertained - so it may well be worth a second look.
Offering sophisticated and traditional Swiss charm the ski-in/ski-out resort of Arosa lies 1,800 metres above sea level in a stunning location at the end of the Schanfigg Valley. Mainly set in a south-facing bowl well above the tree line, the newly linked resorts of Lenzerheide and Arosa now offer three times as much skiing, and the alternative aspects of the two sides - one facing east, the other west - of the Lenzerheide Valley. Arosa also enjoys an average of eight to twelve hours of sunshine per day. For over a century, it has been a traditional Graubünden holiday resort for its healthy Alpine climate and attractions.
There are 42 lifts available to explore the extensive Arosa-Lenzerheide winter sports region. 225km of pistes on three valley sides leaves nothing to be desired with challenging black slopes, varied red slopes and relaxed blue slopes. All skiers and snowboarders can find a descent that's right for them. Arosa has plenty of wide, forgiving slopes and lovely long cruisey blues for those that like to take things easy. For the more advanced, there is a good number of red and challenging black runs, plus a couple of snow parks to keep the pulse rate up for any winter sports enthusiast. If you want an easy and scenic run that takes you away from the crowds then the 'Grosse Maran' is the perfect run for you! On the other hand, if you want to get your adrenaline pumping with a steep piste and lots of speed then we recommend the 'Carmenna Chair to the 'Carmenna Hut' run!
We carefully select our hotels visiting each property and researching it in great detail before ever sending a client. Our hotels are hand-picked for their unparalleled accommodation, cuisine and facilities as well as first-class service.
